NanoDynamics Opens
Web Store to Assist Research Community
NanoDynamics (Buffalo, NY) has announced its venture into e-commerce with the establishment of its ND Sample Store. Customers can now order samples of NanoDynamics' metal powders directly from the Internet at their convenience and have them delivered anywhere.
The store is designed to shorten lead times and minimize hassle to researchers, engineers and purchasing agents looking to evaluate or qualify NanoDynamics' products. Initially the store is including offerings from its line of nanosilver and copper powders, but is committed to enhancing the customer purchasing experience for a whole suite of NanoDynamics products that are already in the pipeline: nano-sized nickel powders, nanoceramic powders and dispersions, carbon nanotubes, nanoclays and more.
NDSilver samples are one of the first NanoDynamics products to make their debut on line. Ranging from 10 nanometers to 500 nanometers, NDSilver powder and flakes are unique in that they are characterized by excellent particle size control and morphology, are stable at elevated temperatures, and do not exhibit room-temperature sintering. As a result, NanoDynamics' nanosilver is expected to become an enabling material for a broad range of applications including plasma display and ink-jet electronics, conductive inks and pastes, electromagnetic shielding, photovoltaic panels, solders and as an antimicrobial additive for a wide range of products and surfaces.
NDSilver S1-40D has a mean particle size of 40nm and is available as a dispersion in ethylene glycol while the S2-80 is available as a dry, non-agglomerating powder with a mean particle size of 80nm.
NanoDynamics also offers its NDCopper samples on line. C1-2000 and C1-4000 NDCopper powders are commercially available as non-agglomerating dry powders in sizes from 1 micron to 4 microns. These powders are characterized by exceptional purity and particle size control, excellent oxidation resistance, high crystallinity and high conductivity, and offer excellent rheology and processing characteristics in nearly all applications. NDCopper is especially useful for electronics applications such as printed conductors, dipped terminations, and conductive polymers, but can also be used in a variety of other applications that including shielding, antifouling, biocidal activity and more.
Custom orders can also be taken for Copper Particles and Copper Flakes in various sizes ranging as low as 2 nanometers as well as for Silver Particle and Silver Flakes in sizes as low as 10 nanometers.
