Advance Nanotech Portfolio Investment Singular ID Signs Manufacturing Agreement with Aurigin Technology; Aurigin Technology to Manufacture Singular ID Tags

Singular ID Pte. Ltd. (New York, NY), the brand protection solution provider, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Aurigin Technology Pte. Ltd., a company with extensive experience in the design and manufacture of sophisticated automation machinery for the RFID, smart labels, and semiconductor packaging industries. Singular ID is a portfolio investment of Advance Nanotech, a premier provider of financing and support services to expedite the commercialization of nanotechnology discoveries.

Singular ID has developed an integrated system to prevent both counterfeiting and product diversion, a key component of which are tags containing micro- and nanometer sized magnetic features that are prohibitively difficult to fake and so confer a unique identity to the item to which they are attached. These tags are authenticated using proprietary scanners that make a connection back to a remote and secure database.

One key aspect of Singular ID's technology is that it can be tailored for a variety of different applications, both in terms of the format and the operating characteristics. It was therefore important for Singular ID to identify a partner with whom automated manufacturing equipment and high volume processes could be designed and developed that remain modular and flexible as different applications are developed.

Moreover, Aurigin Technology is keen to become more involved in the manufacturing of components that utilize their equipment. Therefore, a key element of this agreement includes an option to enable Aurigin Technology to provide a contract manufacturing service for the tags, supplying them as a component for label conversion.
