Bioforce Installs First Nano Enabler System in Canada
BioForce Nanosciences, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BioForce Nanosciences Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: BFNH.OB) announced today the first Canadian installation under the pilot placement program of the Nano eNabler™ system at the Institute for Optical Sciences (IOS) in Toronto. The BioForce Nano eNabler™ bench top molecular printing system places tiny domains of biological material on a variety of surfaces with nanometer spatial precision. “Our customers at the IOS are research teams and industry partners,” says Karen Grant, Managing Director of the IOS. “We need to have access to all of the newest, leading edge equipment possible and BioForce is a new vendor-partner that is allowing us to apply their equipment to new research scenarios and experiments. We are delighted with their involvement in our Institute.” Prof. M. Cynthia Goh, Associate Director of the IOS states, “Our research teams will be using the Nano eNabler system for patterning surfaces at the nano scale for biosensing and nanotechnology research. We will also be inviting the groups from electrical engineering, semiconductor and surface science to come and work with the equipment. All in all, the response has been very positive.” “The Institute for Optical Sciences is committed to enriching our researcher and student environment and the loan of this innovative technology helps us further that goal,” says Karen Grant. Founder and CEO of BioForce Eric Henderson noted, “Relationships such as this provide BioForce with effective information on key Nano eNabler technology applications. We look forward to working with IOS as their projects develop within these multiple disciplines.” Visit www.bioforcenano.com
