Industrial Nanotech’s Nansulate
Now Being Utilized by Refrigerated Truck Manufacturers
Industrial Nanotech, a company that specializes
in nanotechnology innovation and product development,
announced that because of the superior insulation and
anticorrosion qualities of its nano-science based coatings,
two separate mobile refrigeration companies have begun
utilizing Nansulate to cool and protect the interior
of their refrigerated trucks and vans. The application
of Nansulate to the interiors of these refrigerated
vehicles reduces heat transfer and decreases the amount
energy necessary to keep temperature constant.
Currently, Nansulate PT is being utilized
by Sub Zero Van & Truck Liners, Inc. of New York
and Frontier Produce based in Oklahoma on ceilings and
floors. Nansulate High Heat is being utilized on the
exhausts of their refrigerated vehicles to reduce the
amount of heat that transfers to the interior of the
refrigerated compartment.
Nansulate is a water-based translucent insulation coating
containing a nanotechnology-based material. The coating's
ability to resist mold, prevent corrosion and provide
thermal insulation is well-documented.
“We feel strongly that our working relationship
with these quality companies will allow us to further
penetrate this industry. Our product offers substantial
cost savings by reducing the amount of energy necessary
to keep refrigerated trucks cool. Nansulate also has
the potential to cut in half the cost of converting
a truck for refrigeration. We’re very excited
about these new applications for our revolutionary coatings
and see great potential in the refrigerated truck industry,”
stated Stuart Burchill, CEO of Industrial Nanotech.
