Oil Company to Use Nansulate High
Heat Coating
Industrial Nanotech has announced that
Petrobras, based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil will begin
utilizing the Company’s Nansulate High Heat coating
in its maintenance program due to its insulation and
anti-corrosive properties. Potential applications for
Nansulate include oil and gas pipelines, refinery equipment,
and offshore facilities.
This development is a result of a recent series of meetings
between the Oil and Gas giant and a South American representative
of Industrial Nanotech. Petrobras, short for Petróleo
Brasileiro S.A., is a government-owned Brazilian oil
company that is one of the fifteen largest oil companies
in the world, leading the oil and gas sector in the
development of the most advanced deepwater and ultra-deep
water technology for oil production. The company controls
oil and power industries assets and related business
activities in 16 nations throughout Africa, North America,
South America and Asia.
"This is the beginning of a good business partnership
between Petrobras and Industrial Nanotech," according
to Joao Hipolite, Assistant to Petrobras’ Director
of Pipelines and Terminals.
